AP Raider Celebrate Tnias Mathurin
If you believe in the Hockey Gods, you will understand why they got this one right.
Tnias Mathurin, was selected this summer in the 5th round of the NHL entry draft by the Detroit Redwings.
Drafted out of the Raiders organization by the North Bay Battalion, Tnias spent his entire minor hockey years honing his skills and learning the game while continuing to play with his friends here at home with the Raiders.
Danny Minnings says as impressive as his hockey accomplishments are, anyone that knows Tnias can tell you “Tnias the person” is much more impressive. A great student and teammate with strong family values, a leader, humble, gracious, and just a class act all around; the Red Wings have themselves a very good hockey player, but more importantly, a great person.
