Criminal Reference, Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) - NEW OHF PROCESS
All team officials and on-ice volunteers must submit their Vulnerable Sector Check to the OHF Screening portal (opened April 1) to be rostered for the 2024-2025 season. Please do ASAP.
Please use the following link to the OHF website with the new VSC screening process for all bench staff (OHF LINK). Bench staff will no longer submit VSC forms to Ajax Pickering Minor Hockey. All submissions now go directly to the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF LINK).
Once you have reviewed the new process, you can apply through the Durham Regional Police for your VSC - DRPS ONLINE APPLICATION
Prior to entering the OHF Screening Submission Portal, please ensure you are ready with the necessary documentation. You will need your:
• Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) Number; AND
• Vulnerable Sector Check (PDF) AND OHF Screening Declaration Form (PDF) OHF Screening Declaration Form (download) OR
• Receipt of Vulnerable Sector Check (PDF) AND OHF Screening Declaration Form (PDF) OHF Screening Declaration Form (download)
Please Note:
1. All documents must be in PDF format to be accepted.
2. For the 2024-25 season, the OHF will be accepting copies of a Vulnerable Sector Check from
2022-23 or 2023-24 AND OHF Screening Declaration Form (PDF). All volunteers will have to complete this for the 2024-2025 season.
