AP RAIDERS U12A (25/26) - COACH PROFILE & TEAM INFORMATION
HEAD COACH - BRAD WORTHINGTON
APR is where you want to be!
My name is Brad Worthington and I am excited to be the U12A coach for the 2025-26 season with the AP Raiders. I am looking forward to taking a group of 17 individuals and helping them understand and achieve their hockey goals, along with helping them realize their potential and the kind of player they want to be.
I am a non parent coach and I will have a mix of parent and non parent team staff.
I have been coaching with the APMHA since 2015-16 where I started off as an assistant on my sons House League team. In 2018/19 I took over our U11 Select program and in the 2019/20 season I started a successful U12 AE program with the APMHA. I have coached at the representative level since that season with the APMHA at the AE/BB level. This past season, as the U11A Head Coach, was my first season as a nonparent coach.
Off the ice, I love enjoying time with my family. We love going to movies and spending time at our family cottage in Sauble Beach. My family is very important to me. I love to golf, and I love to fish! You will find me at short tracks across Southern Ontario in the summer following stock cars.
I work locally in Ajax with a company called CRSC as a Supply Chain Inventory Manager. We are a construction management company. I control supply chain and provide logistical support to all of our projects across Canada. I am very proud to be a CRSC employee and I love the work that we do. I am proud to work and volunteer locally, giving back to this great community we have.

COACHING TEAM
Joe Crngarov will be joining me for the 2025-2026 season as a non-parent Assistant Coach. Joe has a wealth of hockey knowledge and is big on player development; he is passionate about the game and developing the skills of young athletes. Joe has a great way of working collaboratively with youth and I am looking forward to teaming up with Joe again and developing players to their full potential.
MY PROGRAM & ICE TIME
My program for the 2025-2026 season will consist of continued skill development, with an emphasis on skating and puck work, with our players, along with continuing to learn new team concepts and how we can achieve greatness together as a team and not as a group of individuals.
We are looking to run a skating development program during the season, that will be additional to the weekly development that is provided by the APMHA for this age group. It is important that we continue to equip our players with the skill and IQ to be competitive and play at that high level. Practices will be high paced; they will be fun, a place for learning, and a place to try new things and discover.
We are looking to enter 4-5 tournaments over the course of the 2025-2026 season. One will be an away tournament where the players can spend time bonding with one another and creating great memories with one another.
Our objective is to have 105-110 hours of ice time for the season. Most ice is allocated to us by the league but I am also big on picking up extra ice when it becomes available; we will typically spend 4-5 days a week on the ice.
MY PHILOSOPHY
I believe hockey should be fun and we need to make sure that fun is the first ingredient when managing players and running a hockey team. I believe in fair play; everyone should get the opportunity to play in all situations. When we can create that standard of play and mutual respect for one another, the team can thrive as a group and the team can achieve incredible results, win or lose.

THE ASSOCIATION
The APMHA has a dedicated Board of Directors and Executive that are all non-parent members, eliminating any perceived conflict of interest or favoritism; their dedication to our MHA is limitless, with no personal gain other than the success of our Association and its players/teams. We have a full administrative staff to support parents and players through all aspects of the season. The APMHA has a solid foundation of continuous and unwavering support for our Coaches, Players and AP Raiders families.
