Ajax Pickering Raiders U15AA took part in the Vaughan Rangers Early Bird
Tournament this week. After posting a 2-1-1 record to become the top team in
their division, they took on the Mississauga Jets in the semi finals.
The Raiders struck first, scoring the first goal of the game. The scoring continued, leading to a 6-3 win that sent them to the finals against the host, Vaughan Rangers. In the finals, it only took 18 seconds for the Raiders to strike, getting the important early lead. As the game continued and Vaughan pressed, the Raiders held strong and never relinquished their lead to win the final 3-2
