It was a weekend full of chicken wings, pizza and great hockey. Your Ajax Pickering U18A Raiders went into the weekend with the goal to win the Gene Harrington Niagara Showdown.
Going through the round robin the goal was to establish Raider hockey, fast,
tough and skillful and this continued through the semi finals and finals with strong special teams play and a suffocating forecheck. These ingredients provide the U18A team with tournament victory over the Milton Jr Menace with a final score of 3-1.
Special thanks to all the parents, grand parents, brothers and sisters as well as those who could not make the trip. Your continued support throughout the weekend made the difference.
