The APMHA is proud to offer the BR91 Scholarship fund to individuals, who are current residents, actively involved with Ajax Pickering Minor Hockey Association. The APMHA is providing three, $2000.00 post-secondary scholarships.
You do not need to be a hockey player, the fund is open to the following:
APR Office Helpers
APR On-Ice Helpers
APR Time Keepers
APR Referees
APR Hockey School Helpers (must complete one full season)
Application Process - Now Open for 2026
Application Process Closes- March 15th.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be attending post secondary school education in a full-time program; funds will be sent directly to their account with the education institution they are attending.
- Complete an essay/document which includes the following:
1. Why you choose your particular post secondary education. Detail Matters
2. Explain how your current role in the Association has helped you gain a greater understanding of self improvement. While its not necessary to be a player, players can include how participating in organized sports within the APMHA has been beneficial in their personal growth.
3. Essays must be a minimum of 500 words.
4. APMHA Player only submissions (not an associaiton referee/timekeeper/helper) must have played the most recent 3 consecutive years with the APMHA.
Applications not meeting the criteria above will not accepted.
