The Ajax Pickering Raiders are proud to announce that two APR U16AAA players have been selected for the OHL Top Prospects Game. Matthew Taylor and Shea Huinink, coached by U16AAA Head Coach Joe Trentadue, have been selected to participate.
Matthew Taylor – One of our leaders both on and off the ice. He’s a dynamic player with high-end skill and a high motor, constantly pushing the pace and driving play. His accurate shot allows him to beat goalies from anywhere, and his speed makes him extremely difficult to defend off the rush. Matthew impacts the game in all situations, and his competitiveness and presence elevate the players around him.
Shea Huinink - Another strong leader for our team on and off the ice. His high hockey IQ and compete level set him apart. He gets to the middle of the ice with purpose, creating quality scoring opportunities for himself and driving play in key moments. His consistency and competitiveness make him a reliable impact player every game.
