HEAD COACH - GEOFF HODGKINSON
I am coming on board as a non-parent coach, bringing over 25 years of combined minor hockey and Junior hockey coaching experience. I spent six seasons running the Ajax Pickering U18 AAA program before moving on to a successful three-season stint as Head Coach of the Uxbridge Bruins Jr. C program. I later returned to minor hockey, continuing my coaching career within the Whitby organization.
Throughout my career, I have been selected to work with Hockey Canada, coaching with the OHL Program of Excellence, helping provide U15 and U16 AAA players opportunities to showcase their skills at a higher level.
Over nine seasons in Whitby, my teams have achieved significant success, including two OMHA Championships and two OMHA Finalist finishes.
The coaching staff is built around experience, structure and accountability. Each member of the staff brings a strong background in player development and a clear understanding of what it takes to compete at the AAA level.
The U14 AAA program will focus on strong team strategies, systems play, individual skill and overall team development. Players will be challenged through high-tempo practices, off-ice training, and dedicated skill sessions designed to improve hockey IQ, decision-making, and execution at game speed.
I strongly believes that a team-first mentality is essential to sustained success. This team will take pride in accountability, commitment, and playing for one another, on and off the ice.

The APMHA has a dedicated Board of Directors and Executive that are all non-parent members, eliminating any perceived conflict of interest or favoritism; their dedication to our MHA is limitless, with no personal gain other than the success of our Association and its players/teams. We have a full administrative staff to support parents and players through all aspects of the season. The APMHA has a solid foundation of continuous and unwavering support for our Coaches, Players and AP Raiders families.
