Former APR Player Sadly Passed Away
Jacob Winterton has passed away at the age of 25 after a battle with cancer, the OHL announces. Winterton played Minor Hockey for APR then went onto the Flint Firebirds and Oshawa Generals before joining the University of Guelph Gryphons. He is the brother of Seattle Kraken forward Ryan Winterton.
